Having a passion for fast cars since I was a kid. Knowing I wanted to have a part in making them go fast. Reading all the performance magazines from cover to cover. I got my first job at 14 after school working at a used car lot. Doing basic jobs. I knew I loved it. Then working my way to having a job at a new car dealership. I took advantage of the classes and training they gave me.
In 1998 I built a 1994 Z28 Camaro. I sent my pcm off to have it tuned for all the modifications. The company I sent it to. Well they could not even get the car to idle. Knowing what the car needed. I sent the pcm back. I sent a note telling them what I wanted the timing to be. And that it was running rich. They charged me again. But the car still did not run right. I ended up buying my own software to use. I spent months learning it. Studying what every table was. I finally got the nerve up to load the file in the car. It was a night and day difference. I kept making changes. Made the car run fairly good. 11.00 in the 1/4. I was happy. I had a few friends that asked about tuning there cars. It ended up where I got real busy tuning. I opened my own shop in 2000. I ended up buying more programs. And in 2006 took the efi101 course. Then I bought myself a chassis dyno. I keep up with the newest programs. And study the new computer systems. I work with most the local car dealerships. Along with many other shops. I do mail order tunes and email files to customers with their own software. I don't copy any tunes. I build each tune by what the customer and what the vehicle is wanting. Now over 15 years of tuning efi. And continuing my passion.
